The article describes and presents thinking of three outstanding representatives of a contemporary Czech philosophy of religion. Otakar Funda radically realized the project of demythologization and existential interpretation and he also demythologized the category of transcendence. He became an atheist and corresponds with the thoughts of S. Žižek in understanding of love. Tomáš Halík is a Christian philosopher. He occupies himself with the analysis of relation between secular and religious thinking and the role of Christianity in current society. We could understand his recent book I Want You To Be : Christianity after Religion as a fictitious dialogue with authors who refuse to accept a personal, transcendental God and refuse him as the source of love. Jolana Poláková follows the tradition of dialogical philosophy. She emphasizes the difference between monological and dialogical philosophical theology. The man meets God in a dialogue as much as the God meets the man. The dialogue is a place of God’s proximity.

BLAŠČÍKOVÁ, A.: The Scandal (scandalum) Issues in Thomas Aquinas. Studia Aloisiana, 4, 2013, 4, s. 23 – 31.
This paper focuses on the scandal issues in the view of Thomas Aquinas. Thomas’ tractate of the scandal has its firm fundament in the biblical text which he translates into the systematical form. It discerns “scandal of the little ones” from “Pharisaical scandal”, active scandal from passive scandal. It draws out the basic discernments when to avoid the scandal and when to risk it with regard to the maintenance of the verity of doctrine, life and justice. In conclusion the paper summarizes the actual aspects of Thomas’ tractate of the scandal.

The culture always reflected the state of the society. Various authors hold the same opinion that the culture along with society undergoes the crisis. The paper deals with the strong individualism characterized the present society and then it concentrates on the personal view on man according to the philosophical personalism. The essential feature of the personal being is the relation with other persons. Therefore one solution of the increasing egoistic individualism is development of personal relations.

FEKETE, J.: How Much Truth Bears the Truth? The truth as unclosedness of its aletheia-like character vs. the tendencies concerning its purpose and power orientated reification. Studia Aloisiana, 4, 2013, 4, s. 45 – 60.
On purpose and power orientated approach to truth concept shows its limits. They are the limits of self-restriction and self-immunization facing the call towards further knowing. The scientifically propositional truth concept and a desire to assure oneself facing the inconformity which truth demands ex principio lead towards inappropriate simplification and thereafter to deformation of truth perception itself. This two examples of restriction of truth concept are representative patterns of modernity in Western mental world. Their structures prevent them to see critically their historical status quo of their epistemic validity. An approach to bring their predominantly epistemological accent to its omitted ontological bases opens the possibility to incorporate the post-Heideggerian metaphysical and on Sein focused advance to the questioning about the truth and its corrective consequences for sciences and daily life.

The dignity of a woman and her vocation have always been subjected to human and Christian thinking. It is described by the documents of the Second Vatican Council and pope John Paul II devoted special attention to the dignity of a woman in a number of important documents. This topic is important also in relation to guidance of the divorced. We will attempt to describe the experience of guidance of women after divorce by the means of God’s word and mainly in spiritual exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola.

Uplatnenie absolventov Teologickej fakulty Trnavskej univerzity

Výskum „Uplatnenie absolventov Teologickej fakulty Trnavskej univerzity v pracovnom živote“ sa uskutočnil elektronickou formou v januári a februári roku 2013. Zber údajov realizoval študent druhého ročníka magisterského stupňa na katedre náuky o rodine v rámci svojej diplomovej prace. Oslovení boli všetci absolventi teologickej fakulty od jej zriadenia v roku 1997, u ktorých mala fakulta evidované ich kontaktne údaje. Z 320 poslaných mailov dotazník vyplnilo 97 absolventov školy, z toho dve tretiny laikov, zvyšok sú ženy a muži z rehoľných spoločenstiev. Priemerný vek zapojených absolventov do výskumu je 34 rokov. Štyria respondenti ukončili štúdium kresťanskej filozofie magisterským alebo bakalárskym stupňom, ostatní približne v tretinových podieloch smery katolícka teológia, náuka o rodine a formácia a vedenie spoločenstiev. Pomer skúmaných absolventov externého a interného štúdia je 50 : 50.
Dotazník obsahoval 30 otázok zameraných na spätnú väzbu bývalých študentov na kvalitu prednášajúcich, organizáciu štúdia a na využitie štúdia v pracovnom živote. V nasledujúcej reflexii vyberám niekoľko oblastí z výskumu a pri vybraných otázkach porovnávam odpovede laikov a zasvätených osôb.
